EFM Website

What is "My EFM"?

"My EFM" is the industry area of the EFM website, which offers additional service features and a personal account area for Market participants. The industry area is accessed by logging in to the "My EFM" toolbox on the upper right-hand corner of the EFM website www.efm-berlinale.de.

What service features does the industry area offer?

The industry area offers access to:
  • The full versions of the Buyers List, Exhibitors List and Participants List for the upcoming EFM, which include company and contact information (and for the Exhibitors List also stand and film details)
  • The EFM Screening Schedule
  • Online Film Entry to submit films to the EFM
  • Screening Reports of submitted films after they have been screened
  • Hotel reservation for Berlinale partner hotels
In addition, "My EFM" accounts contain a personal Daily Planner where you can create your personal schedule once the EFM Screening Schedule goes online. You can also save screenings directly to your personal calendar (i.e. Outlook, iCal).

How do I obtain access to the industry area?

The only way to obtain access to the industry area is by registering for the EFM with a Market Badge or EFM Screening Pass. Participants of the Berlinale Co-Production Market are also granted access to the industry area. For further information on EFM registration, please see here.

When do I receive "My EFM" login details?

You will receive an e-mail with a link to set up your "My EFM" account, as soon as your registration for the EFM is processed. Returning EFM participants with previously activated "My EFM" accounts, will receive a notification e-mail that their accounts have been re-activated.
The EFM does not send out specific login details. You will be prompted to choose your own user name and password when setting up the account. E-mails on behalf of the "My EFM" account are separate from the "confirmation of accreditation" e-mail and will usually arrive prior to the latter.

Who is the "My EFM" e-mail sent to?

The "My EFM" e-mail is sent to the e-mail address entered on the accreditation form to receive festival and EFM information. It is possible that one company representative will receive all the e-mails on behalf of the accounts of the company members.
If you did not receive a "My EFM" e-mail within a week of returning your accreditation form, please contact . Also contact us know if you would like to change the e-mail address on the account.

What if I forgot my password (PW)?

If you forgot your password, please enter your user name on the following page. You will instantly receive an e-mail allowing you to reset your password.

What is a "My EFM" film entry account?

A film entry account allows you to submit films to the EFM without being registered for the upcoming Market. This account provides limited access to the industry area of the EFM website, allowing you to access online film entry and screening reports only.
Should you register for the EFM with a Market Badge or EFM Screening Pass at a later time, your film entry account will automatically be upgraded to a regular “My EFM” account.

Do "My EFM" login details work for the "My Berlinale" account?
