Since 2006, the European Film Market (EFM) has been making its home in the Martin-Gropius-Bau (MGB), internationally known as one of Berlin’s premier art museums, just minutes away from the festival headquarters at Potsdamer Platz.
During the nine days of the EFM, the Martin-Gropius-Bau's beautiful Renaissance exhibition halls, dating back to 1881, are outfitted to host more than 6400 industry professionals. The main meeting place is in the gorgeous and imposing Central Hall, whose café atmosphere make it a comfortable and productive networking area. There is also a new EFM Lounge on the second floor - an ideal place to work or meet for a drink. The lounge also hosts events and receptions during the Market.

Flexible and efficient market stands are arranged in and around the Central Hall, with a fully-equipped 200-seat, HD compatible cinema located one floor below.
Getting around couldn’t be more convenient. A continuous shuttle service connects EFM visitors with the Berlinale venues at nearby Potsdamer Platz. Plus the Berlinale Co-Production Market takes place right across the street from the MGB in the Berlin House of Representatives.
EFM and MGB - innovative meets historical!
