The Festival Director in consultation with the EFM Director has the right to settle all cases unforeseen in the Regulations for EFM Exhibitors (Stands and Offices) and General Participation, as well as to permit exceptions from the regulations in special, well-founded cases. The EFM reserves the right to bar any person and/or company from the EFM at its sole discretion..

Data Protection

Address and contact details submitted will be published in official Festival and EFM publications, including for example the "Who´s Where", the Exhibitors and Buyers Lists (print or online version), and the Screening Report (provided to the Exhibitors) based on EFM Screenings attendance.

EFM Registration

Participation in the EFM is only permitted to registered professionals, particularly producers, distributors, film financiers, cinema operators, buyers and sellers as well as representatives of the TV and home entertainment market.
To participate in the EFM one needs to be registered with the Accreditation Department even if one receives free Market Badges.

Conditions of Rental

Payment of rental fees
The rental fees for Stands and Offices as well as for equipment (furniture, AV, IT, telecommunication and construction elements) must be settled in advance of the EFM.

Stands and Offices
The construction of all stands must be realised by the official construction company of the EFM. All equipment must be ordered via the EFM. Due to special logistical conditions, suppliers other than the EFM suppliers are not allowed.
Prior consultation with the EFM is required for hanging of any material.
Stands and Offices must be set up in time for the opening of the EFM. Dismantling cannot start before the last day of the EFM.
Stands and Offices should be manned and operated by the participant or his representatives during the opening hours of the EFM.

Stands and Offices Inspection
During the set-up period, a pre-EFM inspection will be made with an EFM staff member confirming the delivery of ordered equipment and included items. A delivery slip will have to be signed by all Exhibitors.

Liability of the Organiser
The premises of the EFM are under surveillance day and night throughout the EFM.
However, the EFM is not liable for any theft of property (private or rented) and it is expected that Exhibitors take all necessary measures to protect any objects of value especially video cassettes/DVDs, laptops and other portable items.
The EFM reserves the right to charge Exhibitors for any damage to stand construction/offices, equipment and furniture.
Exhibitors are strongly advised to take out sufficient insurance; we recommend both a public liability insurance as well as a trade fair insurance.

Display and promotion material
Display of material or promotion of any film infringing legal judgements or international conventions of intellectual ownership is strictly prohibited.

Events
Consultation with the EFM is required for any events taking place on EFM premises. Only the licensed EFM caterer may be used.
