What's the difference between registration and accreditation?
"Registration" is used to refer specifically to the types of badges that grant access to EFM screenings (i.e. Market/Buyers Badge, EFM Screening Pass). "Accreditation" refers to participation in the Festival by professionals/press. Participants accredited for the Festival are allowed to access EFM locations but cannot attend EFM screenings. Still, registration and accreditation are completed in one process: by returning your accreditation form to the Accreditation Department.
How do I register for the EFM?
To register for the EFM, please send a written request to the Accreditation Department between October 15th - December 15th. Only requests submitted by post or fax (on letterhead from the company applying) or e-mail (with signature) can be processed. After your request is verified, you will receive a registration form. Please note that forms are not available for download and that registration cannot be completed online.

What types of EFM Badges are there?
There are three different types of EFM badges: the Market Badge (includes Festival Accreditation); the EFM Screening Pass (w/o Festival Accreditation); and the Buyers Badge, which is a Market Badge for Buyers only. All three badges allow access to EFM venues and screenings.
How do I receive a Buyers Badge?
The Buyers Badge is not for sale. When ordering a Market Badge, please tick "Buyer" on the accreditation form. Only applicants deemed eligible as a Buyer under EFM rules will receive a Buyers Badge. To follow-up on your Buyers Badge request, you can check the Buyers List on the EFM website, however, this list is regularly updated until early February and is not complete before this date. We thus ask you to check regularly and cannot answer individual requests.
