Where does the EFM take place? 

The EFM takes place at two venues: the Martin-Gropius-Bau (MGB) and the Marriott Hotel. The majority of EFM stands are located in the MGB, which is in walking distance from Potsdamer Platz. Further stands and offices are located on the first and second floors of the Marriott Hotel at Potsdamer Platz.

Where do EFM screenings take place? 

EFM screenings take place at the EFM venues (the MGB Cinema and the Marriott Studios 1 - 3) and at other cinemas at Potsdamer Platz: CinemaxX, CineStar, the dffb Cinema and the Arsenal Cinemas. The Parliament Studio at the Berlin House of Representatives is located across from the MGB and Berlinale Co-Production Market / Berlin House of Representatives across from the MGB.

What are the opening hours of the EFM 2012?

How do I get from one venue to another during the EFM

There is a free EFM Shuttle Service available to take you from the MGB to the Marriott Hotel and to the screening facilities at Potsdamer Platz.

Where should I go first when I arrive at Potsdamer Platz? 

We recommend that you first go pick up your badge. All participants received an e-mail with their pick-up counter from the department that was in charge of their registration. The two main pick-up counters for regular participants are:

1. EFM Registration Counter (MGB) for Foreign Film Industry, International Festivals & kultur Org.

Where can I get more information about the Berlinale and the EFM once I am in Berlin? 

Information and registration counters are located at the main entrance of the MGB and in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel.

Who has access to EFM venues? 

All participants with a(n) Market Badge, Buyers Badge, Multiple Day Pass, Daily Pass, EFM Visitor Pass or Festival/Press Accreditation have access to EFM venues.
Access to EFM screenings, however, is only permitted with a Market or Buyers Badge.
