Meet the Docs promotes networking and exchange among buyers, sellers, directors and producers of documentaries. Established in 2009, the initiative is a collaboration between the EFM and European Documentary Network (EDN), an organization comprised of 1000 members serving the documentary sector in Europe.
Meet the Docs Services and Events 2012
At the EFM 2012, a new meeting and contact point will be located on the second floor of the Martin-Gropius-Bau, providing: specific information tools (booklets of documentary films at the Berlinale and EFM, the complete EFM Buyers list), an on-going individual consultation service provided by EDN experts.
Under the umbrella of Meet the Docs, the new series Spotlights by IDFA and DOK Leipzig present a selection of the previous documentary festival programmes. The screenings take place in the EFM’s CinemaxX Studios.
The daily information sessions Meet the Distributors and Meet the Festivals are hosted at the EFM Lounge, adjacent to the Meet the Docs umbrella stand. Please find the programme details
