On February 16, international producers will again have the opportunity to discover new literary material for screen adaptations at the Berlinale Co-Production Market. Ten selected books will be presented in pitching sessions at “Breakfast & Books”, the market for literary adaptations. Afterwards, during breakfast, producers will be able to talk directly with the international publishers and literary agents representing the selected material  

At the seventh Berlinale Co-Production Market (February 14–16, 2010), 37 selected film projects from 22 countries will be presented including works by award-winning directors such as Marco Bechis, Jánosz Szász or Andrey Zvyagintsev. Two projects are directorial debuts by well-known actors: Individual meetings will be arranged in Berlin for Hiam Abbass' The Inheritance, as well as for In Embryo by Ulrich Thomsen. Furthermore, the Berlinale Co-Production Market is delighted with at least two films screening at the Berlinale 2010  

The fifth Berlinale Day at the Frankfurt Book Fair (14 - 18 October 2009) will take place on 15 October. Book Fair visitors will be presented with three selected screen adaptations from the 2009 Berlinale programme. Additionally, producers, publishers and literary agents will have the opportunity to exchange ideas at a case study cooperatively organized by the Berlinale and the Book Fair  

With immediate effect, the Berlinale Co-Production Market is again seeking promising feature film projects that it would like to assist to find co-production and co-financing partners at the Berlinale 2010
