The Talent Project Market is a co-operation between the Berlinale Co-Production Market and the Berlinale Talent Campus. As part of the application for the Berlinale Talent Campus, producing and directing talents can apply for participation in the hands-on programme “Talent Project Market”.

 

An international jury has selected the participants.The deadline for applications was October 5, 2011. The selected projects and participants can be seen at Project Selection

 

The Talent Project Market 2012 offers the eleven selected young filmmakers an opportunity to present their projects to Berlinale Co-Production Market participants in one-on-one meetings and to learn more about international co-productions directly from the experts.

 

The Talent Projects are considered an "insider tip" at the Berlinale Co-Production Market – especially for producers interested in up-and-coming young directors and who are keen on getting involved in projects at an earlier stage.

 

Three of these projects will have the chance to pitch their project in front of the participants of the Berlinale Co-Production Market at the "Talent Project Highlights," and one of them is awarded a monetary prize which is donated by VFF.

 

Another monetary prize will also be awarded to one of the 11 selected projects: The ARTE International Relations Award.
