The main partners of the Berlinale Co-Production Market are MDM Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (since 2004) and the European Union’s MEDIA Programme (since 2005). 

 

The Berlin House of Representatives has been the host of the Berlinale Co-Production Market since 2005. 

 

Since 2004, the VFF Verwertungsgesellschaft für Film und Fernsehen has endowed the Talent Highlight Pitch, a monetary award for three selected Talents of the Talent Project Market every year. 

 

The Berlinale started a cooperation with the Frankfurt Book Fair in order to set the foundation for joint initiatives such as Books at Berlinale and the Berlinale Day at the Frankfurt Book Fair, which aim to bring the book and the film worlds closer together. 

 

In order to support producers in their international networking, the Berlinale Co-Production Market also collaborates with other relevant co-production initiatives such as:  

CineMart Rotterdam, CineLink Sarajevo, Holland Film Meeting, Baltic Event, B2B Belgrade, Sofia Meetings, CentEast Warsaw, Marché du Film 

 

And, last but not least, the Berlinale Co-Production Market cooperates with organisations such as the well-established European producers’ training programmes EAVE and ACE.
