"Books at Berlinale", established in 2006 in cooperation with Frankfurter Buchmesse, is the first rights market at an A-Film Festival.
At Books at Berlinale, 10 selected novels are presented to an audience of internationally established producers at the Berlinale Co-Production Market.
The book presentation is engagingly moderated and the respective rights holders (publishers/literary agents) are introduced. Producers and film rights holders can also meet at a Matchmaking Session.
