Rikke Ennis is the founder and CEO at REinvent Studios, a mini-studio specialized in development, packaging, sales and finance of films for the global market. REinvent Studios is an accelerator of great talents and ideas and has a passion for scripted content, TV series and feature films. The Copenhagen-based company has an extensive knowledge of original trends and sales opportunities on both the Scandinavian and the international market and works with the best of class European production companies.
Rikke is currently also preparing the launch of a new pay-per-view digital streaming service called NutAlone. NutAlone will offer publishers an exciting new way to monetise and rejuvenate existing content while simultaneously creating a high value, slick user experience for their viewers. The new platform will be ready in a test version during the Berlinale in the beginning of February.
Since 2008, Rikke Ennis has been CEO at TrustNordisk, the biggest sales agent in the Nordic region and one of the leading sales companies in Europe, representing one of the largest film catalogues in Europe (more than 600 films). Rikke was also part of the management of the Danish production powerhouse Zentropa. In 2012 she founded Zentropa China with the goal of combining the best of Danish talent and film experience with the merging media market in China.
Alex Stolz is a London based senior executive, strategist and broadcaster with high-level experience across Film, TV and Digital over 18 years. He is the producer of the Film Disruptors podcast.
In their wide-ranging interview, Alex Stolz and Rikke Ennis will address the disruption currently happening in the international film industry, her views on how new technologies and the use of data have changed the film business, REinvent Studios’ process of exploring new formats and new platforms, selecting projects and building talent, and the current state of diversity in front of and behind the camera.
