Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) boasts exceptional animation talent and numerous recent feature film successes that have performed remarkably well both on the festival circuit and in international distribution.
Among the latest achievements are the Oscar-winning Latvian film Flow, as well as this year's EFA-nominated films Dog of God (LV) and Tales from the Magic Garden (CZ, SK, SI, FR).
On the short film circuit, CEE talent continues to excel, with several Oscar-shortlisted films this year alone. Over the past decade, CEE Animation has become a strong brand. CEE Animation is also an international organization, uniting activities for the promotion and development of animation and its talents from 17 Central and Eastern European countries.
The CEE Animation Forum is a leading regional pitching and market platform held annually since 2012, and the CEE Animation Workshop is the most comprehensive European skill-development program for producers and animation projects, training professionals since 2017.
All our events bring together producers and projects from across Europe and around the world.

CEE Animation presents in this session five distinctive animation projects led by strong authors and experienced producers. These projects have recently participated in the CEE Animation Forum, the CEE Animation Workshop, or both.

Acorn's Adventure (d. Filip Mašek) - produced by Pure Shore (CZ), Fabian & Fred (DE)

Hello, Oscar - (d. Edmunds Jansons) - produced by Atom Art (LV)

Red Zone (d. Iryna Tsilyk) - produced by Moon Man (UA), Vivement Lundi! (FR), a_BAHN (LUX)

Until death unites us (d. Nawojka Wierzbowska, Natalia Krawczuk) - produced by GS Animation (PL)
