Spotlight On: International Animation presents a curated pitching session showcasing bold animated feature projects in early development from international studios and creative teams. This session offers a first look at a diverse slate spanning family entertainment, adult drama, and animated documentary, with a strong focus on international co-production.

The selection includes Eck! Ghosts (Anima Vitae), a family Halloween comedy based on the books of Mauri Kunnas; The Twilight World (Sun Creature / Knudsen Pictures / Psyop), an adult animated historical drama directed by Werner Herzog; Ages of Madness: The Howling of the Jinn (3 Doubles), a myth-driven adult drama from Spain; The Pirate King (Submarine), a family fantasy adventure developed as a Netherlands–Taiwan co-production; Colleen (Blue Spirit Productions), a family adventure drama from the director of Ballerina; Fabric of Grief (Animate Projects / MediaActive Projects), an animated documentary from the UK; and Goya, Cave of Dreams (BreakThru Films / Alba Sotorra / Tinglado Film), an ambitious adult drama co-produced between Spain and Poland.
