Spotlight On: German Animation presents a pitching session dedicated to animated feature projects in early development from Germany and German-led co-productions.The session showcases a wide creative range, spanning family entertainment and adventure as well as adult drama, thriller, and animated documentary.

Projects presented include STRUWWEL (Fabian&Fred), a family comedy adventure; Your Spotted Skin (Studio FILM BILDER), an adult animated feature; Troll & the Oliver (Zooper Film), a family-oriented animated project; and Onne & Ontje (Blaue Pampelmuse), a family comedy adventure rooted in character-driven storytelling, all with strong international co-production potential.

Further projects include Treasure Island (Little Dream Entertainment), a musical, animal-themed adaptation of a classic; ANGST (brave new work / Red Parrot Studios), an adult animated drama-thriller; In Their Own Flesh (Paper Plane Animation), an animated documentary for adult audiences; and Alma and the Wild Hunt (Arx Anima), a family-friendly animated adventure. All on the lookout for co-producers, world sales, distributors and broadcasters.

An essential session to discover new German animation projects at an early stage of development and ready to take the next step, presented within the framework of EFM the Animation Days and supported by Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung.
