This UK Animation Showcase brings together five animated family features in development, offering an international audience a snapshot of the production strength that defines the UK animation sector.

The projects span original storytelling and reimagined classics, combining humour and adventure. Together, they reflect the UK’s distinctive approach to family animation and are designed for global audiences through international collaboration.

The session opens with Brambly Hedge from Lupus Films, a feature adaptation of Jill Barklem’s beloved books, rooted in warmth, community and the natural world, and drawing on the UK’s rich tradition of literary storytelling for families.

This is followed by a project from Snafu picture, more information will be announced shortly.

Also featured is Toad the Movie, from Hoho Entertainment and Wild Child Animation, a fresh CG reimagining of The Wind in the Willows that brings renewed scale and momentum to a cornerstone of British children’s literature.

Reds & Grays, produced by Two Daughters Entertainment, offers an original adventure inspired by the real ecological conflict between red and grey squirrels, blending romance, rebellion and political intrigue in a distinctly British setting with universal themes.

The showcase concludes with Merry Christmas, Earthlings! from Space Age Films and Anderson Entertainment, a festive sci-fi family based on a story by Gerry Anderson, combining British genre heritage with contemporary CG animation and international appeal.

Across the session, producers will introduce their projects, outline creative vision and development status, and highlight opportunities for co-production, financing and collaboration.
