EFM Landmark (24-25 February 2020) — a joint initiative of the European Film Market, the Berlinale Co-Production Market in cooperation with the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN)— is a new platform focusing on film commissions, and as such on the branding of outstanding locations and the funding and co-production possibilities linked to them once selected as a shooting location. The two-day event will focus on bringing together film commissioners and producers, and will be developed as a professional platform for these groups in the upcoming years.

EFM Landmark pulls together the key elements that are essential for choosing the right location for your film: a stage to present the latest trends, schemes and developments, an overview of current funding and co-production support schemes (including tax incentives and cash rebates), networking opportunities, matchmaking tools, panels highlighting both best practices and lessons learned, pitch sessions and an array of film commissioners ready to help producers. Linking to co-production, the platform is a natural collaboration with the Berlinale Co-Production Market. As the European network for film commissions, the first edition of EFM Landmark is a cooperation with EUFCN.
