Morocco in Focus, 12-18 Feb

Supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Centre Cinématographique Marocain (CCM), the vibrant film scene of Morocco will present itself from a variety of perspectives at the Berlinale’s EFM 2026. “Morocco in Focus” at the EFM is an important global showcase for Moroccan creators that will enable Moroccan content to reach new audiences and will create new export opportunities for its industry.

Berlinale Series Market, a joint initiative of the European film Market, the Berlinale Co-Production Market and Berlinale Talents, will once again host professionals from around the world for its three-day event and present an exciting programme of screenings, a selection of projects, inspiring talks as el las networking events. Within the framework of this year’s Berlinale Series Market, a Moroccan showcase will highlight the Moroccan strengths in serial content.

Moroccan Producers Spotlight

Selected Moroccan producers will be presented within the framework of the Moroccan Producers Spotlight at the Producers Hub, a platform aiming at all international producers, providing a professional working environment and facilitating key business for producers: developing film projects, networking, financing, producing and distributing.

Moroccan Films

A selection of films, market premieres and festival favourites from Morocco will be resented at Berlinale and the EFM, featuring upcoming films as well as special screenings.
