The Berlinale Africa Hub celebrated its 4th edition from 21-26 Feb 2020, with a new location at the Marriott Hotel and a broadened pan-continental African scope going forward. We again offered a focused range of events that allowed film professionals from or with a focus on Africa to come together to meet and to network.

Presentations

Who are the movers and shakers in the creative industry of the African continent? In our daily presentation sessions, visionaries and developers present their ideas and intitaitives for the African film industry. Each presentation slot consists of a 15-min pitch and a 15-min Q&A. Africa Hub Talks

Get the latest insights into the African film industry. The daily talks within the Berlinale Africa Hub tackle market-relevant topics in cooperation with the World Cinema Fund, the Berlinale Co-Production Market and Berlinale Talents.
