A Timestamp of Resilience: Filmmaking in a Country Under Siege

Berlinale Industry Events

Access: On pre-registration

In this exclusive interview, the filmmakers share the challenges they faced in bringing this poignant story to the screen and discuss the broader implications of their work.

From technical hurdles to the larger questions surrounding education during conflict, this film invites us to rethink the power of learning even in the most dire circumstances. In an era where global crises are often viewed from a distance, this documentary brings the human side of war into focus.

Despite the war, school life continues in Ukraine, with pupils and teachers striving to carry on learning even under constant threat. Timestamp is a mosaic of the everyday lives of teachers and students from different corners of Ukraine.

Available seats for this interview can be seen and booked via the booking tool (accessible only when logged into your MyAccount). Please note that sessions will only appear within the booking tool when not fully booked.

This event takes place at the library in the Documentation Center in the 2nd floor. Participants may gather at the admission counter in front of Café Connect.

With this offer, the EFM Industry Sessions aim to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
