The EFM offers top quality screening facilities in various sizes for high-end projections in comfortable state-of-the-art cinemas.
All EFM venues and screening facilities are conveniently located within walking distance at Potsdamer Platz.
In addition to regular market screenings in cinemas at Potsdamer Platz, the EFM also offers online screenings.

The Gropius Bau Cinema is located in the lower level of the Gropius Bau, the venue of international exhibitions and the main EFM exhibition facility during the Berlinale. The renaissance building was constructed in 1881 and restored in the 1970s. It is located in walking-distance from the festival headquarters at Potsdamer Platz. The fully-equipped 200-seat, HD compatible theatre is an attractive venue for EFM screenings because of its direct connection to the market stands.

The Arsenal belongs to the "Arsenal - Institute for Film and Video Art", situated in the lower level of the "Filmhaus" at Potsdamer Platz, which is also home to the dffb cinemas. Arsenal 2 is equipped with comfortable seating and the latest technology.

CinemaxX has been the main Berlinale cinema since 2000. It was built as part of the new development of Potsdamer Platz and opened in 1998. It offers all the advantages of a well-equipped multiplex cinema. No other EFM screening facility offers so many cinemas situated so close together, allowing one to move quickly between the 18 CinemaxX cinemas.

at the Gropius Bau/ Registration Entrance
The EFM Cinemobile is located right on-site at the Gropius Bau, the epicentre of the EFM. The mobile cinema offers state-of-the-art projections and 80 comfortable seats. In addition to the Gropius Cinema, the EFM Cinemobile provides another screen in walking distance to the Gropius Bau, which makes getting around and doing business even more comfortable.

The Parliament Studio is located in the Berlin House of Representatives opposite the Gropius Bau, the main venue of the EFM. The building is regarded as an architectural symbol of the Wilhemenian era and is also the venue of the Berlinale Co-Production Market. By crossing the street, you can switch from the ever-busy atrium of the Gropius Bau to the calm and exclusive atmosphere of the Parliament Studio.
