Baltic Countries in Focus, 16 - 22 Feb

Supported by the Estonian Film Institute, the National Film Centre of Latvia and the Lithuanian Film Centre, the vibrant film scene of the three Baltic states will present itself from a variety of perspectives at the Berlinale’s EFM 2023. “Baltic Countries in Focus” at the EFM is an important global showcase for Baltic creators that will enable Baltic content to reach new audiences and will create new export opportunities for its industry.

Berlinale Series Market

Berlinale Series Market, a joint initiative of the European Film Market, the Berlinale Co-Production Market and Berlinale Talents, organised in close collaboration with Berlinale Series, will once again host professionals from around the world for its three-day event and present an exciting programme of screenings, a selection of projects, inspiring talks as well as networking events. Within the framework of this year’s Berlinale Series Market, a Baltics event will highlight the Baltic countries’ strengths in serial content.

Baltic Films

A diverse collection of selected films, market premieres and festival favourites from the three Baltic states will be presented at the Berlinale and the EFM, featuring upcoming Baltic films as well as special screenings.

EFM Industry Sessions

A variety of events featuring Baltic filmmakers, experts and content will be part of this year’s programme at the EFM Industry Sessions.
