Buyers have been lining up to aquire TrustNordisk titles, which has resulted in several closed deals on titles from the Berlin 2016 line-up.

TRUSTNORDISK picks up a new feature by director Ole Bornedal
On Monday, February 15th, shooting will initiate on director Ole Bornedal’s new untitled feature, which will be shot on location in Copenhagen and Aalborg. Previous projects directed by Ole Bornedal include NIGHTWATCH (1994), I AM DINA (2002) and high profile TV-series 1864 (2015).

Filmnation to reteam with director J.C. Chandor to develop THE ROBBER
New York, NY – (January 21, 2015) FilmNation Entertainment announced today that they will reteam with director J.C. Chandor to develop THE ROBBER, a remake of Germany’s DER RÄUBER directed by Benjamin Heisenberg and written by Heisenberg and Martin Prinz based on Prinz's novella of the same title. Neal Dodson, Anna Gerb and Chandor, who is also attached to direct, will produce. FilmNation will finance the film and handle worldwide distribution rights. Chase Palmer will adapt the screenplay.

New York, NY (January 5, 2016) – Magnolia Pictures announced today that it has acquired worldwide rights to HARRY BENSON: SHOOT FIRST, a new documentary about legendary photographer Harry Benson, written and directed by Matthew Miele (SCATTER MY ASHES AT BERGDORF’S, CRAZY ABOUT TIFFANY) and Justin Bare (COKED UP!). The film, which world premiered at the 2015 Hamptons International Film Festival, features interviews with luminaries such as Sharon Stone, Alec Baldwin, Donald Trump, Piers Morgan, Dan Rather, James L. Brooks, Henry Kissinger, Ralph Lauren and Joe Namath. Magnolia is targeting a 2016 theatrical release.
